Booking Timelines, Operations, and Cancellations

Booking Timeline

4-12 Weeks Prior To Service

This is the ideal time to contact us for overnight or multi-day service requests with dates and service type.

Existing clients will submit booking request through the Client Portal. New clients can get set up in our Client Portal and create their family profile to submit a request.

Please keep in mind all communication with our team is completed in the Client Portal, accessible via web browser and/or phone app (Time to Pet). This helps streamline the process between our leadership team, sitters, and pet families.

3-4 Weeks Prior To Service

We work to confirm bookings as soon as possible while also maintaining our reputation for reliability. Confirming a booking with the right sitter for your pet's needs can take time, we appreciate patience while our sitters confirm any outside schedules, ensuring your pets will receive the attention they deserve. Once a booking in confirmed through our Client Portal, one of our Directors will coordinate a Meet & Greet alongside our Hooman to ensure a comfortable fit, review your pet's routine, and answer any lingering questions. 

If we are approaching an upcoming booking without confirmation of availability from our team, we will provide referrals so you and your fur-family are not left stranded. 

7 Days Prior To Service

Clients should be sure all pet details and any additional, critical notes for the sitter are included in the Client Portal.

A Meet & Greet should have been coordinated and completed, and a 50% deposit will occur for sitting services.

Keys or door access codes and instructions should be shared with the sitter.

What Kind of Pets Do You Work With?

Great question - we work with a wide variety of species. Our team hosts a world of knowledge in care for dogs, cats, reptiles and insects, fish, birds, chickens, pigs, goats, horses, and small animals. If you have an unique or exotic pet, our team has resources available to obtain the latest information in quality care and a desire to expand knowledge!

Do You Offer Dog Daycare Alternatives?

We sure do! Dog daycare can be a fantastic option for many dogs, however, it can be overwhelming and stressful for others. Our Buddy Adventures offer a right-sized option to entertain your pet and provide them with fulfillment. As our approach is focused on physical and mental enrichment, we can provide a bigger world for your dog in a manageable time frame with a variety of activity that keeps pets engaged and entertained for 3 hours, with a suggestion of only 1-3 scheduled events per week. Pick-up from your pet's home is generally between by 10:30am with return by 2:30pm

Should My Dog Adventure?

Deciding whether your dog should join in on Trail Adventures depends on their health, behavior, and how well they socialize with other dogs and humans. It is crucial to consider their overall wellbeing and ensure they’re up for the adventure, prioritizing their safety and enjoyment. Please consult with your Veterinarian regarding your pet's exercise needs if you are unsure. Pets may be away from the house for an extended period of time.

Will I Receive Updates?

We utilize Time To Pet, a user-friendly app, to streamline communication between our team and our clients. This offers a simple way to request and confirm services, communicate with sitters, and easily update pet information for viewing through the website and/or the phone app.

How Does Payment Work?

All invoicing is visible in the family profile in our client portal. Regularly scheduled walks are invoiced bi-weekly and all other services are processed with the standard deposit and completion of service schedule. Deposits are invoiced 7 days prior to the booking with the remaining balance invoiced on the final day of the booking. Please note a payment method on file is required, processing fees may apply (up to 2.9%)

Cancellations

Our cancellation fees are not meant to be punitive, however, we do not provide refunds. In the event of a late cancellation we don't have time to fill that spot; our Hoomans are not able to make up those funds and other clients have found solutions. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

Cancellations Within 7 Days Prior to a Booking Will Result in Full Charge of the Booking

Can I Meet My Hooman?

Absolutely! We provide a complimentary Meet & Greet with each new pet/hooman pairing. One of our Directors will introduce you and your fur-family to the assigned sitter, ensuring a comfortable fit for all.

How Do Deposits Work?

A 50% deposit is collected 7 days prior to a booking to secure a sitter's availability. Deposits are non-refundable per our cancellation policy.
