Yes! Our team values building lasting relationships with the pet families we serve. To ensure a comfortable fit for all parties, a complimentary Meet & Greet is required for each new Hooman and Pet Family pairing.
One of our experienced Directors will coordinate and conduct the Meet & Greet once the booking has been scheudled, providing additional peace of mind with an additional point of contact to ensure backup solutions are in place should the unexpected occur.
We utilize a user-friendly app to host our client portal on the go. This allows for streamlined communication between our team and the pet families we serve, offering a simple way to schedule services, communicate questions, update pet details, and manage invoices.
Upon completion of each scheduled event, the assigned Hooman will provide a detailed report including activity details, tasks performed, sharing the pet’s experience, noting any important observations…along with adorable photos!
Dog daycare can be a fantastic option for many dogs, however, it can be overwhelming and stressful for others. Our Adventures offer an alternative for dogs to enjoy their day in their own way.
Adventures prioritize smaller-groups to reduce stress and promote pack friendships. Our approach with Adventure services amplify your dog’s experience with a right-sized, engaging and enriching activities immersed in Alaska’s great outdoors.
Hooman for Hire exercises a 5:1 dog to Hooman ratio, which is found to be uniquely critical. It ensures each pet received ample attention and care, fostering a safe, nurturing environment where pets can enjoy personalized interactions and activities tailored to their needs and preferences. This commitment to individualized care is a cornerstone of our philosophy in providing the best possible experience for pets and their families.
All invoicing details are accessible in the client portal. Regularly scheduled walks are invoiced bi-weekly and all other services are processed with the standard deposit and completion of service schedule.
Deposits are collected 7 days prior to the booking with the remaining balance invoiced on the final day of the booking. Please note a payment method on file is required to maintain a smooth process.
Please note Hooman for Hire does not provide refunds, no exceptions. For this reason, is crucial to review service confirmation details and the invoice notices sent 24 hours prior to a charge taking place for any discrepancies.
Cancellations within 7 days prior to the scheduled service will result in a forfeiture of the deposit.
Cancellations within 7 days prior to a scheduled service that overlaps a calendar Holiday will result in 100% charge of the booking.
Cancellations within 3 days prior to the scheduled services will result in 100% charge of the booking.
Our cancellation policy is not meant to be punitive, however, we aim to respect the time our Hoomans set aside to dedicate to your pets and respect other pet families. With short notice cancellations, we are unable to replace the assigned Hooman’s schedule and have found solutions or referrals for other pet families. With that said, we are a small business – not monsters, In extreme circumstances we are able to offer account credit.
